I remember when erotica was predominately considered literature intended to arouse the sexual desire. Now days, erotica is mostly images of porn.
As much as these images and videos stimulates the sense of sight, It is creative writing that stimulates the mind.
It requires time to be considered. It requires the art of slowing down and taking your time. It brings the mind into the actual scenario and takes the reader on a journey.
To read or to write erotica is to live its words and make them cum alive.
Yes, something has been lost with the direct porn culture we have now. Primarily our imagination. Taking us into a carefully woven storyline where we can be drawn into much more than the sex scenario.
ReplyDeleteI have a accumulated a nice collection of Images and Videos over the years that I've started documenting my encounters. It is still fairly new as i really didn't start filming myself until 2020 during the pandemic when I didn't have anything else to do. Before that I photographed and filmed dozens of men for my nude photography collection. I love taking pictures and getting good footage. I especially love to share with others. But there is something about reading the words and making them come alive with one's own imagination that is so arousing. I agree with you. Lots have been lost in porn culture. I literally canceled all my subscriptions with the exception of one. I have found seeing myself in action is much more arousing to me. Maybe a little narcissistic but no one knows what I like better than me.
DeleteI believe one of the reasons I started The Image / Video of the day is because I LOVE sharing my porn. I absolutely love it. But I don't want to have my writing overshadowed with pretty pictures. This way I can still share and still have my writing the center of my blog.
