I finished up reading Logan’s latest post HOUSEWARMING OR DEFILING THE BED. It's not the first or the third Time I've read the entry. I just happened to enjoy that post very much. It's kind of like how I enjoy reruns.  I know what’s going to happen next. It doesn’t make it any less entertaining.

I know for certain it is a much lighter version of himself than the one that often carries the weight of the world on his shoulders. 

I think I like it also because it provides a small glimpse into the dynamic of his home life with his roommates.

Speaking of which, I got a preview video clip of what his room looks like.  Very roomy. It has been described in a few conversations at least how I interpret it as not... Hell, I don't know how to describe it. But seeing it with my own eyes, it feels like a room I would be proud to call home. Some people go for a bunch of furniture and tables, blah blah, blah. I am a man that enjoys minimalist  value.

I am sure we will have plenty to talk about as Mr. Arrow will be in the Sac O Tomatoes tomorrow.  I just know some uptight Sacramentan would be steaming if they heard that term. I said what I said.

Every so often I pick material to read from my blog.  I usually do this not only out of entertainment but as a proofreading.  There are typos now that I know are in a few entries that I haven't gotten to.  Of course I'd forget about them until the next time I read, but will eventually correct them.

Sometimes I read to see the progress I’ve made.

A PICTURE WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS is an example of how much I have grown since then. It is also a mirror of what society looks like from the view of a gay Black man. A view that many whom aren’t Black don't want to see or talk about because it makes them feel uncomfortable. 

As I read through the story, I've made a few changes. Changes that may not be noticeable even if the reader has read it a few times.  All the same, I felt it important to make those changes.

“To think those few poses just added to that avalanche of White supremacy / Black inferiority that plagues social media and everyday life as we know it.”

Revised:

“It was, and is the thought that those few poses just added to that avalanche of White narcissism and the illusion of Black inferiority that plagues social media and everyday life as we know it.”

“And whenever I am asked to portray myself in a light contrary to what I stand for as a proud Black man and I actually do it, I have added to this avalanche of White supremacy.”

Revised:

And whenever I am asked to portray myself in a light contrary to what I stand for as a proud Black man and I actually give into it, I have added to this avalanche of White narcissism and illusion of Black inferiority.

I made the change after watching a clip online declaring that we got it all wrong about White supremacy.

There is no such thing as white supremacy. Instead, White narcissism is much more appropriate. This is in no way an echo chamber or a mirror of what I’ve heard someone else say.

I have questioned why we call it White supremacy for decades. Especially when there is nothing supreme about these people.

I have resolved in calling it like it is opposed to making it sound pretty. 

White narcissisim is an ugly word. It is uncomfortable. But I'm not here to make you feel good.  I’m here to tell the truth.

In the same manner, I've changed Black

inferiority to the illusion of Black inferiority because I am well familiar with the gas lighting and agenda to make us feel like we are inferior. 

We are of Kings and Queens hence our own regal acknowledgment "King" when we greet each other.  

I'm not saying I'm better.  I'm saying, "Recognize."

FELCHING PISSER has been on my reading list since I first started my blog.  His many sexcapades have been enjoyed many times.  Yet still I have not even scratched the surface of his blog.

His latest entry, as to date is HISTORY: FIRST STIRRINGS.  

It is somewhat an introduction or maybe even a making of the man we know as Felching Pisser. 

I use the term maybe firmly because there are so many layers to one man.  It is often difficult to pin point a true introduction to a prominent role in one's life.

It actually shows a layer of FP that I don't see often and there is a very cute surprise at the end. I believe this is one of my favorites because it gives more of a glimpse of the man we know as FP.

The title is a long one called IF BLOGGING WAS THERAPY WHY'D WE TURN IT INTO CONTENT? 

This one definitely caught my attention.  I am forever talking about how blogging is therapy because it actually is.

The author goes on to mention how he missed the good old days when blogging was about sharing your life without the branding, content creation, and monetizing. 

Because I was so inclined to share, and for the sake of time, I will copy my comment.

I felt every word! Yes I understand exactly what you are saying. And yes Blogging is very much therapeutic to me. But I would be lying if I said there's not any performance to it as well. As an artist, It is important for me to present my blog in a way that is creative . Hell even when I have my video clips and pictures there is some form of being "on" for the camera. As far as the algorithm, Fuck the algorithm ! That is the decline of all mental health. I know. I been there before. 

Now I know how to express myself and give a piece of who I am without losing myself in the numbers or pitching a sale of my content. There are still some of us out there! This blog entry is LOOOOONG overdue. I'm glad you said that part out loud for the blogosphere. And keep doing what you are doing.

I believe there is room for a little bit of both. sharing about who you are, the daily livings and the hot content, (I hate that word!) But most of all being true to who you are.

 Today's pick is a more recent entry of mine. AURALISM . 

Lately I have been listening to a lot of my videos without watching.  I would have my iPad in my portable tablet bag with my earphones on as I perform my chores. Or I would play the clips through my car stereo as I drove to my destinations. 

I  love videos and images. I just never wanted the focus of my blog to be about videos and pictures.  There is a plethora of blogs that I deeply enjoy to get the visual juices flowing.  I feel that writing is so underrated in the adult entertainment realm but I also know that I have lots of material; both writing as well as visuals  that I want to share, hence the occasional highlights of the Image  / Video of the Day.

I do plan on converting more videos to audio for my Auralism tag. Look for them soon.

It has been an extraordinary week last week. Someone I know underwent an extremely long and demanding surgery. 

I’ve always been general about anyone's health just because as a professional caregiver myself, I take personal privacy very seriously.  Honestly, it is often hard to differentiate between sharing too much information for the sake of blogging / entertainment, and personal therapy journaling. But here it is:

After years and mean years of denial, this person had to have brain surgery to remove the tumor that was basically crushing the left side of this person's brain. 

Needless to say it was very crucial that they had this surgery or be put on hospice and wait to die. 

Fortunately the surgery was a success but there is still a long way to go. They are out of ICU and making recovery. This person is being very cantankerous when it comes to care and future plans for rehab.

And then there are other factors at play such as family drama, Power Of Attorney, and their financial disaster that my sister and I have to deal with. 

Today is the first day I took a break and allowed myself to breathe. 

Just for the record my sister is a wizard when it comes to legal affairs and the processes it takes to get things accomplished correctly.  I know so many people who have to do it on their own because either no one is there or no one even has the decency to care to get involved. 

This is the caveat:

She has a lot going on with her business, she is barely making it above water, she is extremely emotional and often times she can be a bully when things aren't done her way.  

Oh, and she often makes rash decisions when she's emotional. She's already got into a big argument with this person about their plan of future care.  This person said some pretty harsh words in their state of anger that sparked her to declare being totally done with the situation leaving everything to me.

Thank goodness for the nurse reminding her this person just had major surgery on the brain.  The nurse also informed her that they had no memory of what took place and not to take what was exchanged personally.  The exact thing that I told her, but of course it took a professional doctor to remind her of this delicate state.

So, I am online doing research on what the next step will be.  She's back on.  I suggested since she's the brains, I would be the footwork.  She has also made me the one that makes the finale decisions as well as the mouthpiece to communicate with this person. So far this seems to be the smoothest route for us.  I'm still learning and doing my research just because, well...🤷🏽‍♂️

Yesterday I decided to take my laundry to the laundromat to dry since our dryer hasn’t been working for weeks and maintenance at the apartment complex is taking their own sweet time in getting it fixed. 

While waiting for the clothes to dry, I decided to open the book that I purchased from Amazon.

Dirty Dorms and Fresh Men is a compilation of stories from various writers. Today’s pick comes from J.W. Steed called Tearoom Extra Credit from the Sleazy A series of stories.

For the first time in quite a while I was able to drift into a story.  I was that fly on the wall watching as a young; Dare I say, Baby Steed was taught a great lesson from a very commanding professor only to be assigned extra credit.
