Unpopular Opinion among pogonophiles:

I am not defined by my beard (despite my profile name.)

Sometimes I’m clean shaven. Talking about people losing their minds! 
I often have to provide extra therapy during those times. lol

    Nothing wrong with a little scruff. Nothing wrong with a beard --- so long as it's not all scraggly and unkempt.

      It's mainly about switching it up every now and then. I like a thick beard sometimes but too long is irritating and food gets in it. NOT cute. lol

    It certainly does take some getting used to. But we all need a change from time to time. Shaving that beard could possibly open some doors you never considered.
