MORNING

As the midnight hours fade
The sky begins to brighten

The sun is not fully up yet
It has yet to make its way
Over the horizon

As time goes by
You rigidly toss
In your slumber

Close to awakening
But not fully there
You unconsciously attempt to adjust
Your growing tumescence

Frustrated by your failed attempts
You awaken to your chagrin
As well as your elation

You remember why I brought you here

Fettered
And unable to relieve
The throbbing
Of the rise of the sun
You beg for release

Gently I tease the curtain open
To reveal the sun fully up
And ready to illuminate
The entire room with its rays

Begging and pleading
You ask for the warm explosion
Of the sun’s heat

And once again you are denied

What a delightfully torturous way
To start this morning
