For many of us our beards are our signature look, and we really can't imagine going back to a daily shaving routine. But damn, once in a while it feels so good to be free of it. Who is that stranger looking back at us in the mirror?! I'm guessing this is just a temporary thing on your part but in a way it's like giving yourself a fresh new start.
Yes. I change my look fairly often. It really depends on what type of journey I am on. I usually know when it is time for a new or different vibe. I was clean shaven for about 5 years then grew the beard back and had different variations of it. It is pretty much a cycle I go through every so often.
Wow thank you for asking. It is rare that anyone ask not just me, but in general ; anybody how they really are. I'm sorry for the late response . There is a lot going on (good and not so good) blazing in my face.Everyday is a new phone call from the VA, my sister, the nurse, my dad's banks, It is always something going on. It is pretty overwhelming for anyone. There are loved ones that are doing it all by themselves .My sister and I are in this together. At first It felt as though my head was going to explode. Now that things are settling down and the shock of my father's dementia has finally fit me, I am taking each day at a time. My sister is the one really that is with him now that she has moved to Southern Cali. We both share power of attorney . So we are in communication almost every day. I never thought I would call my sister as much as I have in one week! She by herself can be overwhelming . But long story short, We both are glad that we are finally getting the hang of this. It is not perfect but it is much smoother now. I will say this And I will say this with my whole chest. The VA, govt. and this whole damn country needs to do much better by their veterans. I will spare the gory details but this country have no reason to treat men and women whole gave up literally their lives to protect and serve this country to be treated the way they are. That is all I will say on that matter.(for now.) I mean that with no reservation.
