I learned a new word a few days ago. At least, it's new to me.
The word added to my library is Anodyspareunia. It is apparently pronounced, an-pronounced as "an"- oh-dis-puh-roo-nee-uh. It is defined as persistent or recurrent pain experienced during receptive anal sex, mainly among men who have sex with men.
This pain affects receivers through anal sex, fingering, and / or toys.
I just happen to experience issues with all the above.
It is caused by a variety of physiological and psychological factors.
Some physiological factors include penis / toy size, angle of the anorectal area, and lube or lack thereof.
Some psychological factors include an inability to relax the sphincter a.k.a. uptight. Literally. Previous painful experiences, and performance anxiety.
How I discovered this term; I was googling something. I can never remember the main reason I do most anything. I just know there is usually a turn around somewhere.
As I have been on my journey to retrain my hole, I've been researching various ways to deal with the pain of insertion.
I'm sure I typed in something to the likes of "how to train my booty hole without crying like a little bitch." Maybe not exactly those words but...
Like a fucking broken record, I am going to say it again. In my younger days I was totally versatile.
Did it hurt back then? Yes it did. But not half as much as my latter years. Back in the day it seemed easier to find versatile guys. Not much easier. But easier which gave me more practice.
Today it is like you are either top or bottom no in between; and you must come with your A-game. Nobody's trying to wait while you play catch up with your body.
Dudes want to fuck. They don't want to "hold on," or "give it a moment."
I am sure this pain situation for me stems from both physiological and psychological elements. The psychological aspect is without a doubt the
prominent factor in my book.
I do feel a lot more hopeful in getting to that place of having my legs spread while some stud fills my insides with his dick. Even if it is not a power slam, just getting to the ability to have another man inside me puts a smile on my face and actually have me rock hard while I'm typing this.

DeleteI could write an entire chapter about my first experience being fucked. The horrible man that took my virginity and my own inexperience led to the most traumatic of encounters I have ever had. I swore never again, and it was over a year before I ever attempted it again. But this time it was with a man that was so tender, loving and caring. My relaxing and enjoying the moment was uppermost in his mind. In stark contrast this was one of the most pleasurable and memorable experiences of my life.

DeleteYeah, the no "holding on" or "give it a moment". You know how I am with having the plug ready and in me before anything starts so there's zero wait needed by the top. Looking from an outside perspective it's messed-up that that sort of thing comes with the territory. That the state of gay hookup culture is that brutal.
